EPB Employees Credit Union has awarded three college scholarships to members who were high school seniors. We are pleased to announce that we will offer our fourth college scholarship. Shown below are some of the requirements that were requested in the past. Most likely, these will be remain the same for the 2012 scholarship. Please check with us later this year for updates. The amount of the scholarship and the due dates are subject to change from what we show below: |
| ELIGIBILITY Must be a member in good standing of EPB Employees Credit Union Must be a senior in high school Must be accepted as an incoming freshman to a college, university or technology school |
| REQUIREMENTS Complete the application. Provide a copy of your most recent grade transcript with your grade point average. Provide a list of your community and/or school activities in which you participated. Submit a signed letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader who is familiar with your activities/achievements. Submit an essay. |

| SUBMISSION DEADLINE All material must be submitted to the Credit Union no later than 4:30 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Applicants who do not meet all requirements will be eliminated. |
| SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT All eligible applicants will be judged on the basis of their essay, academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service and personal goals. Scholarship applicants will be notified of the judging results by telephone or letter in June 2012. Judging will be done by the Tennessee Credit Union League and not by anyone directly or indirectly involved with EPB Employees Credit Union. The winner's name will be announced in a future publication of the Credit Union. |
