2012 ANNUAL MEETING |
The date for next year's Annual Meeting of the Members has been set for February 17, 2012. We anticipate that the meal ticket prices will remain the same as this past February meeting; however, that could change if meal and room prices increase substantially.
The location will be the same, the Brainerd Baptist Crossroads "BX" at 4011 Austin Street (at the corner of North Terrace and Belvoir Avenue).[Click here for a Google Maps printable map - BX.] We are once again planning to have good food, fellowship, door prizes in addition to elections. Please make plans now to attend. The Nominating Committee must nominate three individuals for election to the Credit Union's Board of Directors at the next Credit Union Annual Membership Meeting. Those on the Committee are: Kathy Burns, Michael Jones and Connally Million. The three board members whose 3-year terms expire at this meeting are: Monica Middlebrooks, John Noll and Dale McLeod. Please contact the Nominating Committee or the Credit Union Manager if you are interested in serving. More details about the meeting will follow. 2011 CHRISTMAS LOAN SPECIAL |
If you haven't heard, we started our Fourth Annual Christmas Loan Special on October 3rd. This year's program will run through December 30, 2011. What makes this loan "special" is that it does not require a credit report for qualification. We do however, have a few requirements before you can sign on the line. 2011 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED |
We are pleased to announce that Andrew "Drew" Boring, son of Karen and Wendell Boring, has been awarded
the Credit Union's 2011 College Scholarship. Drew is planning to attend the University of Tennessee at
Chattanooga and major in electrical engineering. Congratulations to Drew on being this year's winner. And a sincere thanks goes to our other eight participants. We do wish them all the best in the coming years! |

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING FRIDAY FEBRUARY 18 2011 |
We had another very successful Annual Meeting Friday evening, February 18, 2011. Our count tallied 276 members and guests making the event pretty much a full house. Once again, the Brainerd Baptist Crossroads BX provided the venue. The two directors elected were Sandee Bingham and Lamar Threat. Their terms came up for renewal and they were unanimously re-elected to three-year terms each. |

The prices are the same as last year's - $5 for member tickets and $15 for non-member tickets.
